Here are a few pics from this Easter. We headed to City Church in the morning and then went to have brunch with my mom and my aunt. My mom brought Easter eggs for Shep that she "hid" in the park. They were each filled with one jelly bean (she can't help herself, she is a dental hygeneist) and some cashews. Enjoy!

It's official, my blog is public...so I guess I am going to have to update it now. I have been a bit hesitant to put it out there, but I just closed my eyes and did it. Now lets just see how many people find it =)

The things you say
Shep is saying the cutest things all the time now. Some of my favies include:
Hold you (when he wants me to hold him)
Find it
Help you (when he needs my help with something)
I did it!!!
I got you!
yes mam
I sorry
obey momma
pease (please)
two gummies (gummie vitamins)
poopoo in potty (not that he is even close to doing this)
penis (of course!)
I need to get these all on video so I will have his little voice on record forever.
Beach Days
I am so looking forward to summer this year. I know I will be big and hot come July/August, but I don't care because I am excited about swim lessons and snow cones and warm evening strolls. We went to the beach this past weekend with some friends. Shep just loved playing around on the sand...he was a little scared of the ocean, but warmed up to it a bit. I don't think he ever really enjoyed the feeling of his feet sinking into the sand and the waves on the shore that caught him off balance or would outright just knock him down. But he is a Florida boy, so therefor he must learn to love the beach.

Feeling better
Well it has been 8 weeks of the yuckies! I am finally starting to feel better. 15 weeks down and only 25 to go, piece of cake =). We all had the stomach flu a few weeks ago, which entitled us all to throw up (no big deal for me, kinda my norm lately) and visit the toilet several times. But poor Sheppy, I had never seen him so sick, all he wanted to do was lay on me, which I loved since he hardly ever will snuggle anymore. But we made it through and are on the up and up.
On a random note, Shep's hair is getting rather long again and Robbie is dying for me to cut it, but I can't help but love his longer hair. Maybe if we have a girl this time around, she may look a little like this...I couldn't resist.

Big Brother
Sheppy,
Today I found out that you are going to be a big brother!! Your dad and I can hardly believe it. This is surely the Lord's goodness in our lives. We were prepared for the long haul to get you a sibling, but it didn't take very long at all. What a blessing. You have no idea how your world is going to change in the next 9 months, but then again, either do I. We will transition together I guess. But I love you so much and that is all you really need to know (for now)!

Blogging
Sheppy,
I have started this blog for you and any other siblings that we (and you) will hopefully be blessed with! I need a way to capture memories of you and your daily life so that I will never forget these years with you. Right now you are 17 months old. I can hardly believe that much time has passed since you arrived and forever changed our lives for the better.
There is one word to sum up your life right now, active. You are everywhere and you never stop moving (except for naps and night-night). As long as you are walking around and can hold something (particularly wooden spoons, toothbrushes and hairbrushes) in your hand, you are good to go. It is these little "quirks" that I want to remember for always, so much to my chagrin, I have begun blogging, because you are too precious to forget!
